On Livly, you can submit a review only if you have rented and stayed at a property. This ensures that our reviews are authentic and helpful for future renters.

How to Leave a Review:

  1. Eligibility: Reviews can only be submitted for properties where you have personally rented and stayed. Reviews for single-family rental homes are not accepted on Livly. You will find the option to leave a review below the property's contact information section on our website.

  2. Moderation Process: To ensure that all content complies with our Terms of Service and Terms of Use, each review submission undergoes moderation through a series of filters. Reviews do not post immediately; content that passes moderation typically appears on the site within five business days, depending on the volume of submissions.

  3. Review Guidelines: Before submitting, you must agree to our Terms of Service. We encourage all reviewers to read these terms thoroughly. Reviews should focus on your experience living at the property and cover aspects such as the apartment community, property management, neighborhood, or local activities.

Common Reasons for Review Rejection:

  • Inappropriate Language: Reviews must not contain profanity, symbols representing inappropriate language, name-calling, or any offensive or derogatory remarks.

  • Use of Third-Party Names: Do not mention full names of other individuals.

  • Lack of Focus: Keep your review focused on the property and related experiences. Off-topic content may lead to rejection.

  • Fair Housing Violations: All language in reviews must comply with the Fair Housing Act. Avoid mentioning government vouchers, preferences, or discrimination based on race, religion, ethnicity, etc.

  • External References: Do not include the names of competing communities, management companies, websites, email addresses, or phone numbers.

  1. No Edits or Photos: Reviews cannot be edited once submitted, and there is no option to upload photos. Any review asking readers to view attached images will not be published.
